Daddy Day Care: Another Round of the #SigeSabado Activity

Weekend once again and as for today we are sharing another #SigeSabado activity that me and kids did. In our previous #SigeSabado we’ve already planted mongo seeds, created a harlequin mask, designed a pen holder, and made our very slime. It was all fun activities done with the kids and they loved it very much and of course while Mommy is taking pictures of us doing the crafts.

Nickelodeon Slime Cup on Philippine Ground, An Activity For the Family

When talk about Nickelodeon, slime is the first thing that comes to our mind especially to those Nick fans out there.  So to make the family even happier Nickelodeon brings the First Nickelodeon Slime Cup in the Philippines.  This will bring together families in a fun sporting event.

Nickelodeon announced the launch of the first Nickelodeon Slime Cup in the Philippines, bringing their unique brand of fun for kids and their families through playtime that promotes a healthy lifestyle at the slimiest sports festival over the summer vacation. Targeted at kids aged six years old and above and their families, the event is scheduled on May 31 at Hall 4 of the SMX Convention Center in Manila, from 10AM to 6PM.

Friday Toys : Diecast Construction Vehicles

Friday Toys once again and for this time we're featuring toys that most of the Dads would buy for their kids when they are at the right age.  I think this is somewhat ways of Dads to let their kids a first grasp of what they want to be in the future.  We all know that most Dads would want their kids to be an architect or an engineer and perhaps the best start for that is to familiarize kids with the equipment and vehicles used in this kind of industry or field.

So, our toys for today are the Construction Vehicles.  This is not just an ordinary or plastic construction vehicle but this is a diecast and when we say diecast it is made of metal.  Not entirely all are made from metal but most of it are metals and it is molded as replica of the real ones.  It is the miniature of big ones.

Friday Toys: Dragon Booster

For our weekender toy we are featuring the toy version of the Dragon Booster. Not really sure when was this animated TV series aired in Philippine television but I managed to have seen it before that’s why I've known the character. For some who've already seen the animated series, it is about dragons and a certain character named Artha. They are racers by day and dragon boosters by night that fights evil. The dragon is named as Beau. It is really common that animated series or even movies are being immortalized in action figures, like the one that we are featuring now. For kids having one of this makes them feel that they are part of the world of that character.
Now let’s go to the action figure itself. It is made of the usual materials, PVC plastic. The dragon, Beau have three detachable parts, the wings, the tail, and the saddle where Artha rides on. For the action figure Artha he also got detachable parts like the arms and legs plus the hair which can be changed into a helmet. Too bad, the hair and the helmet were already lost which leaves me with a baldy Artha action figure.

One leg of Beau the dragon is interconnected with the head and the jaw which makes him like a snapping turtle that snaps whenever the leg part is moved. The rest of the legs can be moved and changed position. The tail be twisted and the best part Artha can ride at the saddle.
This action figure is highly not recommended for ages three years old and below due to some small parts that may cause choking. It’s better safe than sorry. A parent to parent advice just always be there whenever they are playing to guide them and to assist them. Things happens when we least expect it.

Swish Mangosteen Mint, A Mouthwash with a Flavorful Benefit

The first time I've ever tasted the Mangosteen fruit was when I was in grade school.  That was the time when my father was still an OFW.   Out of our curiosity my Mother tried to buy some and let us experience a taste of that fruit.  It was a mixture of sweet and sour taste but more of the sweet, soft and chewy like feeling.  Tasting Mangosteen was rare for us that time because of our family's financial instability.

Jollibee Family Bee Day, I Missed This

The worst thing to happen in family outing is when you're already set for a fun weekend when something strikes you down and leaves you indispensable. Yup that's what happened to me and our little one, Gelo. We were stricken by illnesses that made us stay in the house and miss this years biggest Family Bee Day.

So not to make Mommy and Kuya Maki go alone in the Family Bee Day, my Brother-in-law, Justin and my wife's nephew, Raphael went with them in our behalf. Though we missed the event itself it was still like we were there.

John Robert Powers' The Future Leaders Program and Dynamic Parenting

For Dads and Moms, like me, we want to give the best for our kids and best means making them have the right nourishment and the right development materials that they need to excel in everything that they do. But of course not all of us have the capacity to bring all of the best things that our kids can have. Still, we all, parents, strive hard for that.

During the developmental stage of kids which is about 3 years to 6 years old, this is the time that we, parents, should let them feed substantial learning, values and skills. There are different institutions that offers programs for the kids. One of these institutions is John Robert Powers. This institution is known for their personality development programs and big names learn from this institution.

John Robert Powers offers a variety of programs for interested clients, from personality development , modelling, acting and up to creative writing. You can check out their programs through their website or you can visit the branch near you.
