Daddy Yashiro on Baby Blast 4

Remember the Baby Blast 4 event at the Trinoma last last week?  Well, I know this post was a bit late to share my experience with the event but it's better late than never.

Oh I did also shared here that this is the first time that Daddy Yashiro's Journal joins an event as a media partner.  Gladly I did join because it was great seeing your logo and the name of your blog in those print materials of the event.  Though the exposure is limited at least this blog was able to be exposed in some of the Moms and Dads out there, especially to those who have attended the event.

Just like me there are also other bloggers who were part of the event and was also part of the media partners.  Take note some of them I know online but not personally so I really don't know if I bump into them during the event.

Most of the talks during the event were all for the development of the babies and kids.  There were also some information shared by the expertise like the OBs.  There a program being shared by the OB Doctors regarding the "unang yakap" or "first hug" which advocates that the babies should not be taken off from the mothers when giving birth.  It is also shared that all procedures for the babies should be done while the baby is still with the mother.  They do this to make the babies more attached to the mother.  And of course the breast feeding, which is shared to let moms and perhaps moms to be to know that it is essential for the babies.

Aside from the information and talks from the experts there were also games for the kids and for the moms.  Many kids and moms join the contest and I think every enjoyed it  very much.  For us, well, we  enjoyed it a lot, especially the little ones.

To be precise with the whole event.  The event was made possible by Outbox Media Production Agency, in cooperation with the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) and Philippine Pediatric Society (PPS).  Once again it celebrated the wonder of life at its early stages! EHS advocates, teachers, experts and parents together with their kids, gathered for a whole day affair at Trinoma Activity Center for “Baby Blast Year 4: Discover, Create, Imagine and Explore!” a one-day event highlighting the importance of early childhood education.

The event was hosted by Toni Aquino of DZMM, Jackie Go of gojackiego.com, pre-school teacher and TV host, Nikki Veron Cruz (take note Nikki is my favorite host when it comes to gadget things), celebrity moms Snooky Serna and Jenny Miller, sportscaster Anthony Suntay and journalist Peach Mascarinas, together with the tandem of Anthony and Rossel Taberna.  Aside from the host of course there are performances and messages of support for early education which were given by Gail Blanco, Paolo Santos, Patricia Bermudez-Hizon and Tintin Bersola-Babao.

The program was opened by a dance number from talented child singer Pauline Agupitan, together with the Neutron Acrobats and OBM Dancers.

This year’s program highlighted the importance of allowing babies and kids to experience the outdoors and engage in physical activities that can benefit their social, mental, physical and emotional development, given today’s tendency to merely rely on gadgets and technology to keep kids busy.

Here are some of the pictures taken during the coverage.

Learned a lot from this event and I do hope to attend again next year's event.  Baby Blast!

I know this if off topic but I'm looking into starting my own weblog and was wondering what all is required to get set up? I'm assuming having
a blog like yours would cost a pretty penny?
I'm not very web smart so I'm not 100% positive.
Any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated. Appreciate it
