"Miss Ana bound to US"

In our life we meet people, they come and go, they stay and they leave, but the most important of all is what they left for us... a memory that will last... forever maybe but as long as we leave its there for us to cherish and remember.

Right now we are having a little thanksgiving dinner for our co-worker Ms. Ana. She'll be leaving soon and moving to another path of her life. . . bound to US to be with her love one. We hope well for as she travel and leave in her new found home and love. Von voyage!

"A Visit to Our Ninang (Ate Sahlee)"

Today we had our adventure. Angie my wife called me up at home and told me that we were invited to come to Ate Sahlee's house. Since Ate Sahlee was so dear to us though it was already dusk we still decided to went to their house and take note it was in Valenzuela. So Angie, Maki and me met at Ever Gotesco and later we went to Robinson at Novaliches area to ride a FX route to Bagumbong. We got there I think it was almost 7 pm.

We were meet by Ate Sahlee at the subdivision gate. We thought the party was in their house but it was in some place near the subdivision. So we were accompanied to their house and waited their since we got their at the time the party is over. So we waited and later balloons were delivered inside the house, I think they packed up already.

Balloons were all over the sala and we were surprised to what Maki acted. His mom ordered him to stay and don't touch the balloon... well he did obey his mom though he really wanted to touch and play with the balloons. So just to ease his craving to touch the balloon and really did what he was told, we decided to get one bunch and let him play with it. When children started to came he also wanted to play with them and he was shouting as if he knows them. heheheh.

Anyway we ate, chatted, and had some drinks we Ate Sahlee and Kuya Nick. Almost 9:30 pm when we left. Maki was so sleepy that he really sleep during our travel back to our house. So we had a day and now I'm tired. Good night!

"Lottery Newscast"

Yesterday, all Lottery outlets were box office. Just like a box office movie, lines pile up just to bet with their desired numbers. Some of their numbers were taken from birthdays, anniversaries, favorite numbers, dreamed numbers, and even numbers taken from fortune tellers. Everybody is hoping and wanting to win the jackpot prize of Php288,000,000.00. Woooowwww what a number!

Last night we were also waiting for the result of the draw to what number will be drawn and if there will someone claim the jackpot prize.

And the lucky numbers are 1 - 22 - 35 - 36 - 41- 42. Still no one bag that huge... huge ... amount! Maybe it will raise to Php300,000,000.00 until the Sunday draw.

I wonder... where will I put this kind of money of I win...............

"Everything I Need to Know I Learned from Noah's Ark"

Something to share for everybody. Maybe this will guide your life as you sail the vast ocean of wondrous life. For the person who write this, very much appreciated.

Don't miss the boat.

Remember that we are all in the same boat.

Plan ahead. It wasn't raining when Noah built the Ark.

Stay fit. When you're 600 years old, someone may ask you to do something really big.

Don't listen to critics; just get on with the job that needs to be done.

Build your future on high ground.

For safety's sake travel in pairs.

Speed isn't always an advantage. The snails were on board with the cheetahs.

When you're stressed, float a while.

Remember, the Ark was built by amateurs; the Titanic by professionals.

No matter the storm, when you are with god, there's always a rainbow waiting.

"Epol - Apple Quiz"

At last! After more than a year (that's because I stopped answering for some time) I've finally finished answering the Epol - Apple Test. It's an excel format where you have to translate Filipino terms into English. It's really hard! You really need to use the dictionary and talk to some old folks who knew this Filipino terms. There were just some problems on the program I think. Three answers that I am certain that it is correct are not recognized by the program. I think the format might have been damaged. If you want to try the quiz download it.

"My Gift for my Wife"

My Gift for my Wife is just something that I made personally. I always like to give gifts that are personally created by my hands. I felt more intimate and in touch with the one I'm giving the gift. The gift is made of molding clay and some recycled things that still usable. The concept is a heart with a text inside "I Love U". The base of the heart is also made of clay, designed with five flowers and on the back of it is a design like a wood marking with a text "Mommy". The whole figure is put in a plastic box with designs and drawing from an old box. So that's my gift personally created and designed by me.

What did you do on Valentines Day?

Well, me, I've made something that I'm sure my wife loves it.

It goes like this first I bought two valentines card, post it pad notes, and one set of 12 different colors of molding clay on my way home. It took me a few minutes looking for a great valentines card to give to her. When I finished buying those things, put it inside my bag and went home. I make sure that she won't see it. She always spoils my surprises. But not this time. Hehehe.

February 13, 2009 at 11:00 PM, while my wife put our son into bed, I sneak out of the room and went to my parents living room and started making my surprise for her. Past 11 when I finished writing dedications for my first card. I also make a note on the post it saying "Mommy, Buksan mo yong drawer" (Translated for our foreigner friends "Mommy, Open the drawer") with a drawing of an arrow pointing to the drawer. So, I sneak back to our room, placed the post it on the mirror and the card inside the drawer and went to sleep. I'm sure she'll see it in the morning.

To my surprise Maki cried and my wife woke, that was 11:59 PM and I'm so worried that she'll spoil my surprise again. 12 midnight ding... dong... she didn't see it ok. Back to bed. But suddenly she saw something different on the mirror so she looked at it and found my surprise. She was supposed to see that in the morning but anyway it's already Feb 14 so I said Happy Valentines Day! And then we sleep.

6:00 AM we woke up and prepared breakfast. She still have to go to work. We had our routine. Maki and I accompanied her till she ride the jeep. And then we went for a walk, after that went back to the house. When I finished the chores I started making my next batch of surprises.

I prepared the last valentines card for the evening, after that made this little cute molded clay with flowers and heart with a text "Mommy I Love U" and placed it in a plastic box. Once everything was prepared I write down notes to the post it to where she would find this things just like a treasure hunt. Hehehe!

We meet up at Ever Gotesco Commonwealth and had our dinner date at Shakeys together of course with Maki. After we finished dinner we went to the grocery and bought a few. (She don't have any clue then to my surprise) After the grocery we went home.

I was so excited to see her reaction.

When we got inside the house she noticed the posted note, put down Maki and started tracing for the clues and getting the surprises. She's happy for the surprises and she said that she already know that I had a plan but she doesn't know what it is.

So that's how we celebrated our Valentines Day!

"Friday the 13th?"

Today is Friday the 13th! The most feared superstition. Why? Is there anything to fear on Friday the 13th?

According to superstitious belief Friday the 13th is the unluckiest day of the month because to those who believe in Friday the 13th most of the unlucky things happen on this day.

I really don't know why they associated Friday with the number 13. For all I know to those who believe 13 is the unluckiest number (to them?) and I think they associated it with the 12 disciples of Christ 12 Disciples plus Jesus Christ is equals to 13 and one of the 12 disciples betrayed Christ. I don't know if Judas was the number 13 starting Jesus Christ. I really don't know but all I know is that once you believe it is bad luck it will so believe that it is not bad luck.

So instead of spreading Friday the 13th as an eerie, scary and unlucky day, try spread its a good day. So have nice and wonderful Friday the 13th. God Bless!

Me, Angie and our son Maki were planning to go but our problem is the vehicle,... we don't have any. It's much lot easier if you have a vehicle if you're planning to bring the whole family.

Anyway we might as well plan a new activity this weekend may be next year once Maki turns two.

Wednesday, February 11

"Exercise on a Wednesday Morning"

I woke up early today, took a shower, and readied myself for work. When I look outside there were only one vehicle so I decided to take a walk, from the staff house to the office. I got my back pack and set the timer. It took me 38 minutes to get to the office. Whew!

Tuesday, February 10

"Puppet Show: Jeff Dunham"

Last Saturday, after the Chowking incident, my sister showed me this video which her boyfriend downloaded and saved in his PSP. The video is about a stand comedian using puppet. And for sure he is really good, funny and hilarious too.

Saturday, February 7

"The Secret: First Obstacle"

Since last Tuesday, after Alexis let us watch a documentary film (I think?) entitled "The Secret". I'm trying to practice what is said in the film, "think positive thoughts" to exhaust positive energies so that the law of attraction would takes place and attracts good vibes.

Last I have coursed out my dreams in our cork board, what I want to have, and what to gain. This morning I made my morning with positive thoughts.

The day goes on with good and positive things happening.

But tonight at Chowking Ever Commonwealth the first test come up.

I went to the counter area and ask for two glasses with ice. I've waited for more than five minutes (take note 5 minutes) standing right in front of the counter area while the crew and manager just pass me by. Could you imagine you were standing in front of the counter area and no one ask or follow up what I wanted. So I ask for the manager and that was the time that they have noticed me. So I got the glasses with ice and went to the water dispenser area, filled it with water and went back to my son and wife.

I explained to my wife what happened when suddenly this crew went to us and attempted to clean our area. Take note we're not finished eating. So I stopped the crew and voice out what is wrong with this place! I was angry that time even though we're not finished eating I told to my wife lets go!

Is that a test of me practicing to exhaust positive thoughts. Hayyyyy! What a test! But still I want to get the attention of Chowking to make their staff and crew be courteous and attentive to their customers.

At least now I was able to course out that negative thought and energy.

Friday, February 6

"Friday: Weekend Blast"

At last it's Friday, after three weeks of overtime during weekends it's about time that I make up with Maki. We will be having a good bond this weekend. First, I think I will have to clean the house first then fix some things needed to be fix so that Maki can play and roam around the house.

I'm sure this weekend will be tiring but hey seeing my son laughing and making new tricks every day is sure a reward for me.

So tonight I think I will just have to relax and sleep early so tomorrow I'm recharge and full of energy. But I'l have to watch "Lalola" first because tonight is the last episode. I'm wonder what will happen?

Tuesday, February 3

"Tackle it Tuesday"

"Work on a Sunday Morning"

Last Sunday, February 1, 2009, due to exigency of work I woke up dawn and prepared for work. Which I don't normally do on Sundays. Anyway duty calls.

The activity was the Dental Mission on Brgy. Planas, Porac, Pampanga. Everything has been prepared and task (besides the supplies) was to fetch and accompany the dentist from Binondo to Brgy. Planas, Porac, Pampanga. So I did and got to the place safe and sound. Most of them were lady dentist and I think their were only three guys (I think). I got the opportunity to have a little bit of conversation with two of the dentist, one is a guy which somewhat huge and he was from Knox United Methodist Church and the other one is a lady dentist which we got along and exchange life story while in the car going to Porac, Pampanga.

So in other words we got busy on a Sunday morning. Here are some of the pictures of Dental Mission.

"Gary Granada against GMA Kapuso"

Yesterday my office mates and I were able to listen to Gary Granada's aired complaint against GMA Kapuso regarding the "Threepid" commercial. The commercial's main goal is to encourage viewers to buy the advertised product to help less fortunate children with their schooling.

To those who don't know Gary Granada, he is a well known song writer and composer. His songs are well known by Filipino folks. I love his songs and how he create his songs.

GMA 7 is one of the top-notching network in the country. Maybe they should walk their talk.
