Bonding Moment: Bonding Through Colors

What's the most interesting things that kids would together their Moms and Dads?  Well, for one, strolling around the mall is quite okay if the they teens already.  Two, dining out in a restaurant but of course Mom and Dad would be restraining to order more to cut some expenses.  But I think the best of all that both kids and the parents would love would be doing some artworks.  Yes, it is fun, it is cheap, and besides gives more time for the kids development.

That's what have done a few weeks ago.  Great that we were invited and was informed to bring along the kids, unfortunately we couldn't bring the youngest because he just got out of the hospital and still in medication.  So Maki is the one that we brought to the event.

It was also right timing because the venue was in Museo Pangbata.  As I recall we haven't been here.  So we were kind of an alien to this place though we lived in the Metro it's very often to go to places like this.  It was really great bringing our son, Maki.  Remember my post about the diecast toys well we did see it here.

The event was about "Bonding Through Colors with HP Ink Advantage".  They launch this event as family day which is just right because it's holiday that day.

We had a heavy lunch that day and Maki did enjoy the food, though he had a slight accident.  His hands were cold as ice and I think the glass accidentally slipped through his hands.  Good thing that he didn't get any cuts or bruises.  Thank God!  He was shocked in a few minutes but we assured him that it was an accident.  Didn't want him to get traumatized with that.

Anyway after we had our lunch they started the program.  With brief information about HP and their latest offerings, kids get to excited to do their artworks.  Maki was too anxious to proceed with the art thing after the materials was given to him.

Kids and parents were given a chance to bond together by having an artworks.  First thing that we did was the Still Life painting which my son did a great job painting the subject.  It was a work of 5 year old kid and we are proud of him of what he has done.   I think this is the nth times that we had some painting session together and we call it painting session and my wife would only watch us.  Hahaha!  She's not into painting and artsy things.

Later on we were given with some cards and materials for cut outs and some origami.  What we did was a Christmas card.  I'm just not sure to whom my son will give that card but he sure did get a lot of help from me here.  It involves cutting and scissors so kids should get some guidance with the adults when using scissors.

It was really an art-citing day for us!  Though my son and my wife didn't get to the printer anyway they both had a good time as well with the game.

Here's something about HP and the printers.
